Jonny is a venture partner with Parallel Economy, a payment processor that prioritizes the free speech and privacy rights of its customers. He is committed to investing himself into creating a censor-resistant ecosystem that maximizes individual rights and freedoms.

His investment focuses involve companies committed to decentralization, real estate (single family rentals), and Bitcoin. His portfolio company Maslow Properties has been developed to first and foremost serve as a Bitcoin holding company and second as a real estate portfolio that serves to acquire additional Bitcoin. Jonny is developing an acquisition strategy that involves utilizing Bitcoin as collateral for bridge loans intended for quickly acquiring compelling rental properties.

An avid runner since high school, Jonny enjoys mid-distance running. You can follow him on the fitness app Strava and always feel free to call him out when he’s slacking.

Jonny also enjoys studying the Late-Antique world of the Roman Empire and Middle East, having researched and published as a Mellon Fellow at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. His work focused on how ideas migrated across geographic regions. He has also earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, focusing on the Hebrew Bible and the Greek New Testament. A lover of history, Jonny draws upon Winston Churchill’s famous quote, “The further you look into the past, the clearer you can see into the future.”
